Pebbles the Dog

This is the face of possibly the most photographed dog in all of Wisconsin and she lives in our house. Pebbles was adopted from the Dane County Humane Society when she was 3...or 4. She has conflicting records. Fast forward 9,000 pictures later. She's now 12 or 13.

Pebbles has had quite a career and has survived a couple of cancers, including a deadly, aggressive form that develops in the anal glands of dogs. After surgery, chemo (a good round and one that almost killed her due to a low white blood cell count) she's still going. She was only supposed to live 300 days after her diagnosis...as of today she's at 670 days. Good girl Pebbles!

Relaxing has always been something that she has been really good at. Her goal is to find the most recently made bed and arrange it to her exact specifications.

This picture was taken several years ago with a "point-and-shoot" digital camera. Actually, it was my FIRST digital camera. The Nikon 990.

Plan on seeing Pebbles again...
